| Server Subs. | |
| | It's that time of the month again when we have to pay the server bill to keep everything from the website, the game servers and even Ventrilo up and running. Any members that feel they are able to contribute a small amount of money to keeping the [MM] server going so we can all continue to use these resources then please contact Farad either in IRC or in this forum thread . | Wireplay TF2 League | |
| | Congratulations go to [MM¹] who having won their final game of the season against [iP] 8-0 8-0 have finished in second spot in Division 6 behind only [Dekrow]. [MM¹] are : Zimri, BorisTrat, Huntle, Kamp, Warbie, Chillednl, fume, hyperg and ravecore. This should mean [MM¹] move up a division or even two. A great result guys, well done! :) [MM²] have been making progress too and shall be taking part in the next Wireplay league under the direction of [MM]Squeak, our fearless if short leader. | [MM¹] & [MM²]... | |
| | Things are going great for both teams atm. [MM¹] are going great guns with an early win in the Wireplay 6v6 and regular practice games against some tough opponents from higher divisions. [MM²] are doing good to although we've had some defeats each game we have improved. We need to start working on tactics a little more now though. :) Thanks to both Zimri and Squeak for doing a great job so far. :) PS. With [MM¹] getting there own website up soon to post news and results to I've started using the calender on this site for [MM²] games. Hopefully this will make it a little easier for those that don't regularly use IRC to keep an eye on up and coming fixtures. [Submitted by CaptainGinger] | |

| | Just for those who do not know, MM are currently creating a "non" competitive TF2 clan, this is not due to any issues or problems in the clan/community and is purely to enable the increasing numbers of players to have the chance to play on a more regular basis. I am sure there will be an element of competitiveness between the two groups, but I am comfortable that this should not cause any animosity. A rundown of who’s who, for those who do not know. We have a group of Clan Leaders who manage and deal with the community/servers and LAN parties. They are and in no order. Farad, CaptainGinger, Belgarath, Dezz, And myself Blackreign. We now have 2 official groups and 1 semi un-official but associated clan each with a GL. [MM] Group leader: Zimri [MM2] Group leader: Squeak [ZiaT2.0] Clan leader Fragm3nt3d (un-official associated clan) MM are now starting to build on the “community” idea and we would welcome your comments, and would be happy to look at ways we can support the community and build on the success. | | I'm a bit late with this but I want to say a big thank you to all those that made it to MMLan 8. As usual there was a great atmosphere all weekend with everyone joining in the fun and getting things going in great style. Thanks to Wicksman who organized the gaming tournament this time round, this is often a lot tougher than it probably should be. Getting us lot into servers for games is much like herding cats, thanks mate. Thanks also to Sir_Kim who went out of his way as the MMLan taxi service delivering lan goers to and from the event and also supplying yours truly with a place to sleep. Cheers Kim. :) I think special thanks have to go out to Blackreign, Farad and Dezz as they seem to have done even more than they usually do this last lan to make the event turn out great.
